Entry Level Technical Recruiter
As a member of the Regional Recruiting Center (RRC) the Designated Regional Recruiter (DRR) will be a part of the expanding initiative to bring a technically focused recruiting center to several offices throughout the East Region. The DRR will have the opportunity to work on niche focused openings or large national accounts within specific offices that have a focus in growing and retaining niche and national business. The ability to recruit on multiple positions for several different offices will allow the DRR the opportunity to work with and fill multiple positions in a variety of offices. The DRR is responsible for all steps associated with the identification and placement of contract employees with our clients. He or she works directly with sales personnel to ensure the placement and retention of contractor relationships within the niche vertical market and/or large national accounts. This position will be required to work and perform high level recruiting using various recruiting techniques to identify, place, develop relationships and retain candidates within the niche vertical market.
Candidates should be proficient in the following areas: Identification Process: -Utilize both traditional and non-traditional recruiting methods to identify potential candidates. -Develop creative recruiting resources to attract qualified professionals interested in contract, contract to hire and direct placement employment -Present and sell regional job opportunities to potential candidates from a remote location within the region. -Build effective working relationships with perspective candidates as well as networking resources through phone contact and other various methods. -Identify networking resources such as professional association meetings, calling on technical schools, user groups and out-placement services Hiring Process: -Responsible for screening candidates to ensure their qualifications meet open positions -Present job opportunities to qualified candidates and negotiate contract terms -Conduct reference checks and background investigations -Coach candidates through the client interview process -Maintain excellent documentation with the company’s on-line system as well as hard files within the Branch Office
Experience/Education: 1+ year technical recruiting experience Ability to be self directed and work independently Experience in negotiating pay rates and relocation packages Bachelors degree preferred
